About Me

Welcome to From Now 2 Zen, my collection of handmade, personalized and yoga and stress-relief products. I created this website to combine some handmade items from my Etsy shops and other products I felt could make life easier. I grew up in a biracial family. My father was African-American and my mother was Japanese. A lot of my style and selections center around my personal and cultural history. My mother taught me to sew at a very early age. I loved making my own clothes and doing crafts. Along with learning to sew came a love of cooking and eventually a passion for baking. To say that I am very domestic is an understatement! With retirement in the near future (I hope!!), I decided to turn my passion into a small business. Most of my products are items I use in my everyday life- lunch totes, laptop bags, tote bags, yoga mat bags, herbal-scented items, etc. The categories of the items I chose have a personal place in my life, such as breast cancer awareness, autism awareness, yoga and stress relief, and items made from a variety of fabrics... especially Asian fabrics with cherry blossom designs! I also have a section in the menu which highlights the custom products I've created for different clients for their businesses or personal use.
